It is designed to be worn during leisure time. A person leisure is free relaxing time spent away from work. Leisure fashion is typically not appropriate for a work environment. However, it is good for people working form home.
Pajamas, Boxers, Shorts, Jogger, Lowers, T-Shirts are some of the common examples for leisure wear.

With this fusion of athletic wear and leisure wear is multi bullion dollar market and from fashion it has become necessity for most people.Huge amount of developments has already done on the fabric so that both the comfort of leisure wear and durability of athletic wear is maintained.

Type of Fabrics used in Leisure wear

Some of the most commonly used fabrics are listed below.They are used alone or in combination to make the product both comfortable and durable.

Cotton

A good Cotton fabric, the way is a natural product and because of the way it is designed and manufactured into clothing, it has many advantages, such as its ability to control moisture, insulate, provide comfort and it is also hypoallergenic, weatherproof and is a durable fabric.

All-cotton garments are machine washable and can stand up to repeated washings in hot water. Cotton fibers also dye very well, offering vibrantly colored yarn. Because cotton is a natural fiber, it risks damage from mildew. Cotton fabric may pill easily, as lint can form because of short fiber length.

Bamboo

Bamboo fabric is also most preferred natural fabric after cotton for leisure wear. These fabric are more absorbent than cotton due to which it make you feel dry much quicker.Bamboo fabrics are breathable and moisture evaporated much quicker than cotton.

It is generally expensive than cotton.Bamboo fabrics are give smoother feel and are durable.

Nylon

Nylon is a polymer synthetic fiber. It is more used in sports wear and items due to its strong nature but Nylon does not absorb water.Nylon has some of the look and feel of silk. It is used in sheer hosiery, sails, parachutes, blouses, gowns and veils, swimsuits, lingerie, and even car tires. 

Nylon has also replaced wool as the fiber most used in carpets.

Polyester

Polyester is man made synthetic fiber primarily derived from petroleum product.This is most widely used fiber worldwide.Mostly polyester are blended with cotton to make apparels. These fabric can handle great deal of wear and tears and are good for outdoor uses.Polyester hold colors well and long.

Apparel made from polyester is more wrinkle resistant than cotton, fades less, and is long lasting, durable and is less absorbent than cotton, it is more stain resistant

Spandex

Spandex is a lightweight, synthetic fiber that is used to make stretchable clothing.Also know as Lycra or elastane, it is mixed with other fabric to make garments stretchable. Nowadays it has being used in most of the garments such as jeans, Shirt and many other.

Spandex is also breathable, wicks moisture, and dries quickly.It degrade over period of time.It helps in garments to fit well and are comfortable when used in right percentage or quantity.
